iam8bit and SEGA teamed up this weekend to give fans a unique art experience featuring one of gaming’s greatest legends: Sonic the Hedgehog. Taking place this weekend, Friday, September 4th, 2026 until Sunday, September 6, 2026, fans will be able to check out a special exhibit showcasing original works from over 30 renowned artists. These artists have reimagined Sonic’s most iconic moments, characters and memories from it’s rich history and historical artwork.
However, it’s not just professional artists who will be featured within the exhibit. The gallery will also feature some fan art submissions from the community! Additionally, Sonic the Hedgehog will be around on Friday, September 4th from 11am till 5pm PT. At the gallery, fans can also purchase some exclusive merchandise, including a tote bag, mugs, select commissioned art prints, and more from some Sonic licensees.
