The Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W) gives you a solid amount of back-up power in the palm of your hands. It comes in three color options: Aurora White, Black, and Teal Oasis. The power bank features a USB-A port, a USB-C port, a Smart Display, and most notably, a retractable USB-C cable. With a 45W maximum charge rate, it is both compatible with Samsung Fast Charging 2.0 and capable of charging an iPhone 17 Pro to 50% in only 15 minutes.  Meanwhile, the power bank can recharge itself back to 100% in two hours at a rate of 30W.

Featuring ports that allow for both inbound and outbound charging, you have a device that offers both pass-through charging or the charging of up to three devices at the same time. The power bank is also protected by ActiveShield 3.0, Anker’s own self-preservation software that monitors battery heat 80 times a second. Input and output rates are adjusted automatically to prevent overheating and preserve battery life. As you would expect, the maximum outbound charge rates are directly affected by how many devices are connected to the Anker Nano Power Bank at once.

Maximum Device Charge Rates
Devices ConnectedMaximum Output Rates Per Port/Cable
One Device45W from USB-C port or cable, 22.5W from USB-A
Two Devices15W from USB-C cable and 7.5W from USB-C or USB-A ports
Three Devices7.5W from all three sources

The retractable USB-C cable can stretch as far as 2.3 ft in length and can sustain over 20,000 bends. Using Anker InstaCord technology, it allows you to adjust the length of the cable as needed, where you simply stop pulling when you have the right amount of slack. You would then gently pull on the cable again to trigger the cable’s retraction.

The button on the right of the Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W)activates the unit’s Smart Display. When the power bank is not connected to any device or power source, this button toggles the display between battery charge level, battery temperature and battery health. When connected to either a device or power source, this display will also show you inbound and outbound charge rates. It will also show you these rates by port, so that you know the exact charge rates each device is receiving. When connected to a power source, the device will also show you the amount of time it will need to replenish its own battery back to 100%, based on its current charging rates.

With a size of about two Apple AirPod cases combined and at around the weight of an iPhone, the Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W)makes for an excellent travel companion. It is a highly portable power bank, complete with its own cable, that you can slide into a pocket or small bag. With a maximum charge rate of 45W, you get the fastest recharge rates that most mobile devices allow for now.

My Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 recharges at a maximum rate of 25W. At about a 22W charge rate, the Anker Nano Power Bankwas able to bring my phone from 10% to full in about 1 hour and 22 minutes. This left the power bank’s battery at a still very useful 46% charge.

Always considering gaming on the go, I tried this power bank with the Nintendo Switch 2, after also letting the console get down to a 10% charge. The Nintendo Switch 2 naturally charges at a much slower 15W, with the console in sleep mode. In a little over two hours, I was able to get it back to 99%~100%, leaving the power bank at a much more depleted 29%. Of course, the game you are playing determines how fast the Nintendo Switch 2’s battery drains. So, it is hard to determine on average how much game time you are getting back here. That said, it was at least good to know that the Anker Nano Power Bankprovides a nice return of battery life to the console for a power bank of its size.

In the end, I became a big fan of the Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W)when it comes to smaller form factor power banks. For a power bank that I can slip into a pocket, it can get the fastest charge rates for the devices I would normally carry on my person. If I am next to a USB-C charging station, I have the option of recharging both the power bank and a device of my choosing, should I have an additional cable handy. Outside of solid charging rates, both inbound and outbound, the retractable USB-C cable allows you to keep everything you need for single device charging in one neat little package.

At $59.99, the Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W) is a big win for anyone looking for easy to manage and highly portable power. If you are looking for a quick and easy power bank solution that delivers, check out the Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W) for yourself by clicking here.
